【がん教育week①「人生会議をやってみよう」 開催報告】
「がん教育week」は、がんをテーマに「患者さんに寄り添うとは何か？」という問いに対する考えを深めていく企画です。これまで2回のミーティングを通して、がんのイメージや家族ケアについて知識を深めてきました。

今回はイベントの第一弾として8月16日（土）20:00より「人生会議をやってみよう」をZoomで開催し、延べ9名の方々にご参加いただきました。
人生会議とは、人生の最終段階において、自身が望む治療やケアに関する考え方やその根源にある想いを家族やパートナーなどの信頼する人、医療・介護担当者と繰り返し話し合うことです。

今回は、Staffどうしで人生会議を行い、本人や家族の視点に立って体験することで、医療職として患者さんのためにできることを考えることができました。

【Cancer education week  #1 “Trying Advanced Care Planning” – Event Report】

“Cancer education week” is a series of events to think deeply about what medical professionals can do to support patients. We had held two meetings and  we discussed the image of cancers and family care.

As the first event in this series, we held “Trying Advanced Care Planning” online on Saturday, August 16th at 8:00 PM. There were 9 participants. Advanced Care Planning：ACP is to discuss your thoughts and feelings about the care you want in the final stages of your life, with reliable people such as your family, partner, and medical staff.

Each participant could deepen their thoughts about what we could do for patients as healthcare professionals by trying to imagine the patients’ feelings and their families’ perspectives.
