【English Chat #5 開催報告】
2025年11月12日 (水) Zoomにて、「English Chat #5」を開催しました。English Chatは、日常会話や医療問題などについて英語で議論することによって、英語力の向上や英語圏の文化に対する理解を深めること、またIFMSA-Japan Staff同士の交流も目的とした企画です。
当日は10名の方にご参加をいただき、「最近頑張っていること・目標」について英語で話し合いました。互いが頑張っていることを共有することで、今後の目標を再確認できる良い機会になりました。また、その目標に向けてどのように頑張っていきたいか、お互いのアドバイスやおすすめを共有する有意義な時間となりました。
参加者からは「フランクに様々な話ができてよかった」などの声をいただきました。
今後もExchange OfficeではEnglish Chatを始めとした様々なイベントを開催していきますので、より多くの方にご参加いただけますと嬉しいです。

【English Chat #5 – Event Report】
On Wednesday, November 12th, 2025, we held English Chat #5 via Zoom.
English Chat is a casual discussion event designed to improve English communication skills, deepen understanding of English-speaking cultures, and promote interaction among IFMSA-Japan Staff through conversations on everyday topics and medical or global issues.
This time, ten Staff members joined and discussed the theme “What I’m working hard on recently / My current goals.”
By sharing what each person has been focusing on, participants were able to reflect on their current efforts and reaffirm their goals.
It was also a meaningful opportunity for everyone to exchange advice and ideas on how to continue working toward their aspirations.
Participants commented that they appreciated the opportunity to have open and frank discussions on a wide range of topics while using English.
The Exchange Office will continue to organize English Chat and other interactive events to help members practice English and connect with one another.
We look forward to seeing even more participants in future sessions.
