【SCOMEdians 秋の集い 開催報告】
11月22日（土）、東京にて「SCOMEdians 秋の集い」を開催し、延べ14人の方にご参加頂きました。このイベントでは、SCOMEが手がける各ProjectがコラボしてSessionをお届けしました。
◯IPEP×LLP Session
多職種連携をテーマとするプロジェクトのIPEPと、生と死、人の心に向き合うプロジェクトであるLLPのコラボセッション、IPEP×LLP Sessionでは、「コミュニケーション」の取り方についてワークショップを行いました。
医療者間だけでなく、医療者と患者家族間のコミュニケーションの仕方を考えることで、「伝える」ことの難しさや患者への「寄り添い方」を学ぶことができました。
◯MEP×国際業務 Session
カリキュラムや大学生活をテーマに扱うプロジェクトであるMEPと、国際業務のコラボセッション、MEP×国際業務 Sessionでは、アフリカにおけるトイレの衛生問題など、世界で起こる衛生問題、医療問題の原因をチームで分析して解決策を考えました。
今の私たちに何ができ、何を学べるのかを考え、私たちの見える世界を広げました。
最後はみんなで多職種かるたに挑戦しました。
医師・看護師・薬剤師・臨床検査技師など、さまざまな職種の特徴を楽しく学びました。
参加者の皆さんからは、
「初参加のイベントだったのにも関わらず、本当に楽しめました、ありがとうございました!!」
「なかなかできない体験ができた！」
「海外の課題について原因やそれに対しての解決策を話し合うことができて楽しかったです！」
「ロールプレイを通じて、医療者の立場からだと冷静な視点で見れるけど患者さんの立場になると納得できないこともあるのだなと実感し、患者にどの治療を選択すべきかを視点や立場の違いがある中で決めるのはむずかしいなと思いました。」
といった感想をいただきました。

これからもSCOMEでは、医学教育に関するさまざまな視点からアプローチできる機会を提供していきます。

[SCOMEdians Autumn Gathering Report]
On Saturday, November 22, we held the “SCOMEdians Autumn Gathering” in Tokyo, which includes 14 participants.
This event brought together multiple projects run by SCOME to deliver collaborative sessions.
◯ Session Highlights
・IPEP (a project focused on interprofessional collaboration) × LLP (a project that explores life, death, and the human mind) Session
In this session, we held a workshop on different approaches to communication.
By considering communication not only among healthcare professionals but also between healthcare providers and patients’ families, participants were able to learn about the difficulty of “conveying” information and how to truly “be there for” patients.
・MEP (a project that deals with curriculum and college life) & International Affairs Session
Teams analyzed the causes of global issues—such as sanitation and toilet hygiene problems in Africa—and discussed possible solutions.
Through this process, participants reflected on what we can do now and what we can learn, broadening our perspectives on the world.
Finally, everyone took part in Interprofessional Karuta.
Participants enjoyed learning about the characteristics of various professions, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and clinical laboratory technicians.
